MATSURI means "festival" in Japanese.
There are all kinds of festivals in Japan,
but here I wanted to represent more particularly
a flkloric country festival.
This piece has 2 parts:
the first one describes the atmosphere of the countryside
while waiting for the festival
the second part imitates a dance
played by a small flute and a Japanese drum.
