ALMA REDEMPTORIS is part of the collection of motets composed by Jean René André (titular organist of the cathedral of Rennes) for the students of the choral school of Saint Vincent -Providence of Rennes.
A short piece of two pages for voice and organ, Advent and Christmas (until February 2).
The motet, which appeared in the 13th century, is a short musical composition for one or more voices, with or without musical accompaniment, written from a religious or secular text.
