Red Radoja
Red RADOJA, pianist-musicologist, was born in Tirana (Albania) on May 20th 1976. He graduated from the University of Arts of Tirana (piano) and from the University of Strasbourg (musicology). He is particularly interested in the study of epic songs of oral tradition, for which he is preparing a doctoral thesis. His compositions, which present a mixture of styles, are largely inspired by folk music, particularly that of his country of origin.
Red Radoja reveals himself as a composer with a solid writing skill that manifests itself through refined harmony and skilful counterpoints (Jacques Viret).
